Wilson Minority Parents Alliance (WMPA) Mission

The Wilson Minority Parents Alliance is an organization of parent advocates whose purpose is to advance access to educational opportunities and programs for students of color at Woodrow Wilson Senior High School.

The WMPA works cooperatively and collaboratively with existing organizations and boards at Wilson, while striving to address the challenges associated with academic parity confronting minority students at Wilson.

We propose solutions, as well as, respond to concerns of disparate treatment based on race or ethnicity.

The WMPA serves as an information resource for minority students and parents regarding key issues at Wilson, along with communicating on activities and events that promote academic scholarship, civic participation and social and extracurricular opportunities.
